Cabbius are delighted to offer our infrared under-floor heating system. It works by producing infrared radiation that travels through the floor straight to the objects in the room. In other words, it warms the objects directly instead of wasting energy on warming up the air.
Studies show that infrared under-floor heating creates efficiently heated, dust free and healthier environment.
Advantages of underfloor heating:
Under-floor heating does not create air circulation, therefore contrary to traditional radiators it provides dust free environment. Under-floor heating provides a pleasant heat as human’s feet tend to be 2°C –3°C warmer than the head. This means that people using infrared under-floor heating will receive additional comfort suppose to those using conventional radiators. Moreover, under-floor heating system set to 19°C would provide the same warmth as a radiator set to 21°C – 22°C, so it also reduces heating costs. Picture below shows how underfloor heating spreads and maintains similar temperature inside the house.

Warmset’s infrared underfloor heating covers a much greater surface area than average round heating cable types, eliminating hot or cold spots and maintaining a uniform temperature which is distributed evenly through any floor material like parquet or tiles, marble or granite. In addition, through its flat shape it is decidedly less wide than conventional radiator pipes.A feature of this one-of-a-kind heating technology is the multi-layer laminated ribbon, patented by Warmset. Strong and resistant, it is practical, less likely to get damaged during installation and does not require any maintenance. Usually it is gathered in hanks for convenient laying, but it can also be shaped freely to negotiate obstacles like sinks or toilets in the bathroom or irregular walls.

In the winter months, serious injury can occur from the formation of ice on work platforms in warehouse loading bays or on entrance walkways, busy public buildings etc. This potential hazard can easily be minimised by installing an ice prevention system.
In the case of snow fall, an ice prevention system will quickly melt any snow that falls providing clear access for pedestrians and vehicles on pavements and drives.
MPSV heating cables are rated at 20 Watts/m and used for ice and snow melting of outdoor areas and other applications where the cable is embedded in concrete.
